Doing some work on the blog layout... thanks for your patience!

Sneak Peak... Cara's Bridal Portraits!

Oh MY!!! I can't even contain my excitement about my sister's upcoming wedding! In just over a week, she will be Mrs. Timothy Wicks! This past Monday my wonderful friend Lisette let me tag along and take photos for my sister's bridal portraits. Since she is not yet married... and has to save that first look for the wedding day... this photo is unfortunately all you're gonna' get until after January 3! However, believe me.... it will be one post you don't want to miss!!! I have NEVER seen a more stunning bride!

MUCH belated Thanksgiving photos!

Well, I am actually completely aware that we're only days away from Christmas... but FINALLY here are some photos from our wonderful Thanksgiving day with my family in Wise, VA. I'm sorry it has taken me soooo long to get these photos posted, but I don't have internet at home and I have been CRAZY busy the past few weeks. Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos... however late they may be!

The Irwins have become great friends of ours since moving here to Harrisonburg, so I was very excited to photograph them for their Christmas portraits. Here are some of their photos.

Christmas is Almost here!--- Irwin's Portrait preview!

Hey everyone! I am so excited that Christmas is almost here! Today we awoke to a lovely snow dusting outside. And we are having our Christmas musical at church today! The choir sounds so great! I just really feel extra excited about Christmas this year... don't know why, but I do. Anyway, to help me get in the Christmas spirit, I took some Christmas portraits for the Irwin family last week. Here's just one little preview photo of their little "J" that I thought was cute! And I haven't forgotten about Thanksgiving.... I hope everyone had a great one. I hope to post a few photos soon from our fun Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays All!!!

Sweet Sweet Baby Lillianne!

We had the wonderful joy of visiting our friends Justin and Chantry last weekend. They just had their first child, baby Lillianne, a few weeks ago! I enjoyed holding this sweet little girl waaay too much! She is so beautiful... just like her parents! It was also so nice to see Justin and Chantry as parents! They were so natural and at ease... what great parents they are and are going to be! Declan spent most of the time trying to squeeze into Lillianne's baby bouncy seat... but he did finally take a few minutes to introduce himself to our new little friend. Anyway, here are a few photos I was able to take during our visit. It was late in the evening and I didn't have a flash... so you'll have to excuse these for not being the best work ever... but she's such a beautiful baby she makes up for my photographic shortcommings!

Harrisonburg- the Lohr's Pumpkin Patch

One fun outing we had when we first moved to Harrisonburg was to go to our friends' pumpkin patch and farm. We had a great time picking pumpkins, looking at baby animals, going through the corn maze, having a hay ride, and singing in the dark with the youth group from the church. Declan especially had a great time... he loves the girls in the youth group and his little friend C. Here are photos from our fun time!
